On 19th and 20th February 2011, lawyers at Hanne & Co took part in the Walk The Thames sponsored walk to raise funds for local law centres, which despite cuts to funding, continue to maintain their services throughout London.
Our walkers covered a total of 40 miles over 2 days to raise a massive £2429.81 towards the centres which continue to help vulnerable people with a host of social housing, welfare and employment problems.
Saturday's walk got off to a wet start. Despite the dreary conditions, however, our walkers weathered the storm. The Saturday team at Hanne & Co completed the walk by late afternoon before retiring for a well earnt rest.
Sunday's Hanne & Co team faired much better in the harsh conditions with only the mud to battle, completing the second leg of the walk from Putney to Richmond in good time.
Congratulations to the Childcare team at Hanne & Co whose walkers, Lorna Cservenka and Caroline Little, took part in both days of the walk!
